The multi-tooth alloy cutter head adopts a combination design with three groups of cutting edges - inner, middle, and outer. The stepped pilot drill bit design protects the carbide teeth from impact when the pilot drill bit goes through the cutting material. This design also helps eject the slugs easily, reducing the chip-blocking problem due to the spring design.

It is important to properly insert the flat end of the pilot drill bit into the hole of the hole saw and lock it with a screw to prevent the pilot drill bit from shifting, breaking, and other problems, thereby prolonging the lifetime of the tool.

This hole saw set includes 10 pieces of T.C.T. hole saws ranging from 5/8 inch (16mm) to 2-1/16 inch (53mm), 5 extra pilot drill bits, and 3 hex keys. The set is suitable for cutting stainless steel, mild steel, iron, copper, cast iron, and other hard alloys. However, it is not recommended for use on glass, ceramic tile, stone, or concrete. Lubricant should be used to avoid overheating of the drill.
